Have you learned Reiki, experienced its benefits, and feel passionate about supporting others through this relaxing and deeply supportive therapy. Now you may feel ready to start your own Reiki practice and begin working with clients.
Perhaps you can already imagine yourself in a calm, welcoming therapy room, meeting your first client. But at the same time, you may feel uncertain or not fully confident because you are not sure where to start, what to prepare, or what to consider first.
There may be many questions in your mind: Where should you work from? How do you find or create the right space? Will it require a big investment? What practical steps need to be in place before you welcome your first client?
A professional Reiki practice requires clarity, boundaries, preparation and simple business awareness. This does not take anything away from the spiritual nature of Reiki — it helps us offer it with more confidence, safety and professionalism. Than our clients are more able to trust us and feel safe with what we offer. This course is designed to bridge the gap between your Reiki skills and welcoming your first client.

This course is taught by Maija Kovalevska, Founder and Head Teacher of Healing Hands Edinburgh — The Reiki School.
Maija has worked in the holistic field for more than 16 years and has been teaching Reiki since 2017. After moving to Edinburgh in 2013, she began building her own holistic practice while working as a massage therapist in a chiropractic clinic, offering massage and Reiki treatments to clients.
In 2017, Maija founded Healing Hands Edinburgh — The Reiki School. Since then, the school has grown into an established Reiki training provider in Edinburgh and Scotland, with a strong teaching structure, regular courses, a growing community and a clear professional approach to Reiki education.
Through this course, Maija shares practical experience from both sides of the journey: building her own holistic practice from the beginning, and later developing a Reiki school that continues to grow and support practitioners on their path.
Her aim is to help Reiki practitioners understand the practical steps involved in starting their own practice, so they can move forward with more clarity, confidence and professional awareness.
