Service Description

In the Japanese Usui Reiki system, the beginners’ course is known as Shoden, meaning “first teachings.” This two-day foundation training is designed for complete beginners and combines essential knowledge, guided practice and personal experience. It gives students the time and support to build a strong foundation for their continuing personal practice. We teach the Usui Reiki system as a complete practice in its own right, centred on self-healing, self-discovery and learning to work with Reiki — the life energy naturally present in every living being. The course does not combine Reiki with angels, Tarot, crystals, chakras or other additional esoteric tools. The aim of the course is not simply to introduce you to Reiki, but to give you a practice you can continue using and developing in your everyday life.​​​​​ During the course, you will learn: UNDERSTANDING REIKI The Usui Reiki system and its five elements What energy is and how it is present in our everyday lives The holistic approach: different aspects of the human being, symptoms and their possible origins Reiki as a complementary therapy: how it works and its benefits The Usui Reiki system as a spiritual practice The Reiki precepts LEARNING THE PRACTICE Meditation techniques within the Usui Reiki system Reiki Level I attunement How to practise Reiki healing on yourself The intuitive approach to Reiki practice How to practise Reiki on family and friends Other ways Reiki can be used in everyday life By the end of the course, you will be able to: ✓ Begin and maintain your own self-Reiki practice ✓ Practise Reiki intuitively by listening to yourself ✓ Use Reiki meditations and techniques to support yourself daily ✓ Apply the Reiki precepts as a practical tool for self-awareness and everyday life ✓ Recognise connections between your physical, emotional, mental and energetic state ✓ Use Reiki to support yourself during periods of stress, tiredness or emotional difficulty ✓ Practise Reiki with family and friends ✓ Use Reiki in simple and practical ways in everyday life ✓ Continue developing your personal practice with a clear foundation in the Usui Reiki system ​​​The Foundation training includes: ✓ Two days of teaching, guided practice and personal experience ✓ Individual guidance within a small group of up to six students ✓ A comprehensive Reiki Level I course manual ✓ Audio recordings of Reiki meditations ✓ A certificate of completion
